Migration Services
At MIOz {Migrating into Australia} we believe in the value of cultural diversity and endeavour to provide a service which reflects our key values. We strongly support the introduction of qualified people who want to transfer their skills to Australia for a new life and business owners who want to replicate their business success in Australia. MIOz has a special interest in Doctors, Nurses, Business Skills and Interdependent applications.
The decision to grant a visa is made by The Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIBP). MIOz can provide you with advice on which visa category best suits your circumstances. MIOz registered migration consultants will prepare your application and supporting documents, so a valid visa application is lodged with DIBP.
MIOz will:
- Advise you on your migration options and which visa best suits your circumstances;
- Tell you all the supporting documents needed to lodge a valid visa application;
- Provide realistic time frames for the preparation of your application and DIBP processing times;
- Address the visa criteria specific to your circumstances in our brief to DIBP;
- Lodge applications following DIBP protocols;
- Provide you with fixed fees and student discounts;
- Liaise with DIBP officials and you on the progress of your visa application;
- Prepare a migration plan, if your circumstances do not permit an immediate application;
- Provide migration advice across all visa categories (excluding humanitarian and refugee);
- Provide consultations available at your place of residence or business (within the Brisbane Metropolitan area).
Michelle Carter is the principal migration consultant at MIOz. She migrated to Australia in 1985 and commenced a nursing career which spanned 15 years and resulted in a Bachelor of Nursing and a Masters of Health Science. Her migration career started when she was the State Manager of an International nursing agency recruiting overseas trained nurses for temporary and permanent residency in Australia. Following the completion of the Graduate Certificate in Migration Law Michelle worked with a leading Brisbane Migration Law firm for a few years before launching MIOz in 2005.
Supported by Migration Consultants, Administration and Accounts staff, Michelle and the MIOz team provide a comprehensive migration service to local, national and international clients.
MIOz is affiliated with recruitment firms, Australian businesses, business brokers, and settlement agents to provide our clients with every opportunity for a smooth transition to Australia. We continue to support you with after first visa advice as we appreciate a temporary visa helps you decide if you want to take the permanent residency and citizenship step.
